Risks can never be fully eradicated. However, they can be made controllable. Through balanced risk management a balance can be achieved in risks and measures. Risk management is part of good entrepreneurship and forms the basis of a strong competitive position. An analysis of the most important threats offers insight into the necessary control measures.

Risk management

Good risk management is an important pillar supporting your organisation. Risk management is the skill to improve the quality of people and the organisations. At the core it boils down to the safeguarding of the business continuity and the avoidance of (too) big financial risks. An analysis of the risks is always the basis for this. You can make a choice between various measures on the basis of this analysis. In principle there are five different solutions to risk issues:

- elimination;
- limitation;
- transfer;
- insurance;
- managing in-house.

The first three possibilities concern inter alia a change of working method, prevention, adjustment of terms of supply and transfer of default risk. Insurance, the fourth option, is principally intended as protection of the balance between profit and loss. Insuring too much or incorrectly can be just as unprofitable as taking irresponsible risks. Tax reserve, managing in-house, is an underestimated method of loss financing.

The world is changing. There are more mutual dependencies than ever before. Organisations increasingly exchange large quantities of digital data and employees are increasingly more mobile. Society demands reliable organisations which are transparent about their operational management. To achieve this organisations must adjust: they must fulfil the more and more demanding wishes and rules and open up their networks whilst having to reduce their costs.
There are no longer any borders. Organisations must open up to the possibilities related to IT. At the same time IT security systems are increasingly being tested by well-organised cyber criminals. IT audit

In a world in which complex computerised systems dominate, IT audits are indispensable. Computerised processes and systems are the life and blood of your organisation and are therefore the most critical parts of your company. Especially as you almost blindly trust your IT systems.

Forensic & investigation services

Forensic specialists are increasingly engaged in the event of irregularities in the administrative and IT area, or in case of dispute resolution, not only due to higher requirements through tightened supervision by internal and external regulators. Also if, for example, your company is challenged by competition authorities.
